In layman’s terms – gas springs use a compressed gas, contained within a cylinder being variably compressed by a piston, to exert a force. Compared to mechanical springs, gas springs generate a much larger force and longer stroke, especially in relation to their size and weight. They allow for much greater flexibility, since the characteristics of a gas spring at any given time can be adjusted to suit different driving conditions simply by changing the gas pressure. For example, this is a very valuable advantage for vehicles with high load variation that run on varying terrains and in big differences in ambient temperature.
For a better working environment
Better suspension means better comfort and personnel safety. Since gas springs drastically reduce vibration levels, the vehicle and the driver can perform better. This increased efficiency also decreases total vehicle emissions as well as wear on vehicle and driving surface.
With our products installed, the ride height of the vehicle can be easily modified by adjusting gas pressure. For example, this is an advantage for military vehicles that are to board freight planes. Our suspension systems also allow level adjustment on each individual wheel station, as well as on the driver’s cabin itself. This allows you to maintain your desired driving characteristics!

Many of our customers benefit from the fact that our gas springs manage both pushing and pulling suspension. This allows for alternative placement of suspension on vehicles as well as other applications. We always deliver solutions that are easily expandable. This way, if our customer upgrades the design or construction of their application, we can easily modify the suspension as well. We can also add extra features to the suspension at any time if the customer requests it.
